“We had a lovely stay at Altes Landhaus Country Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we received a very friendly welcome and were made to feel truly special. We were in town for the 5 Shy Meerkats tour, which we would highly recommend, and also enjoyed an ostrich safari. Thanks to a brochure from the hotel, we even received a discount. “We arrived late in the evening as dinner was being served but after a slight mix up with our room we were given lovely cottage/house that was beautiful. We were only here for one night but it was so lovely. The dinner was simple but really enjoyable and all guests sat around the fire pit afterwards until late into the night telling stories about their travels. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and would recommend this place. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place”
