Unfortunately, in spite of a very expensive repair, their elevator was not functional. The place and the people were so nice, and the room was wonderful, so I was able to overlook having to climb the stairs in spite of my disability.

You really need to pay attention to the emails they send because they give you a code to get in. If you lose your email, there might not be anyone there to let you in. If you have a car, you need to find parking away from the hotel. It may be inconvenient if you have a few luggages. The walls are thin so you can hear people snoring. Rooms are also small and cramped. But it’s clean and you’re right in the center with shops and restaurants right at your door step.

Propere kamer, maar jammergenoeg heeft de familiekamer geen zicht naar buiten toe. Daarnaast laat het kleine ronde raampje enorm veel geluid door. En gezien het drukke marktplein zich net naast het hotel bevindt, is er elke avond zeer veel geluidshinder. Het contact met het personeel is, door afwezigheid van ontbijt (corona?), zeer gering.

Fantastic location
Great location, and clean rooms. The family room has a king size bed and two separate mattresses that can only be used by children. They are very hard to sleep on.

I really liked everything. I especially love the timeless sense of the hotel as well as the small square in Valbonne. It was like a time outside of time. I cannot think of anything that I did not like.

The staff and the mgmnt were excellent.. Treated us exceptional.. the hotel is in a small billage that almost seems abandoned in term of people when we got there at night like 12pm (by the way make sure u check in no later then 10:30pm very important) but the next day that place was turnt up with people it was lively and energetic... such a difference... the room was clean and we had windows that opened up to the courtyard where people ate at the resturants.. really nice .. it was located in a little town that had shops and markets and the fruits were amazing these were fresh and tasted like real fruits not what you get in the states... i would recomend this hotel if your with your significant other and you like old architecture in a small romantic village away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.. and if you rent a car make sure you take a trip up to gourdon... amazing views through the mountains some ot the best photos you can take..

Lovely room and hotel great. Would have been good to have somewhere with lounging chairs outside. A 15 walk away from Antibes no restaurants near by.

Where the action is
Situato al centro del delizioso paesino, domina la piazzetta caratteristica e dalle camere che si affacciano è uno spettacolo di bancarelle(il mattino) e di gente si caffè di pomeriggio. La nostra camera (upgradata) era molto spaziosa. La struttura è storica e quindi un po’ sacrificata nei particolari ma nel complesso è comoda, pulitissima e di charme.

Great location in charming old town Valbonne. Convenient free parking in lot nearby. New desk clerk was very nice. Antique market on square in front of hotel first Sunday of the month. Would stay here again. Rooms and hallways a bit sterile.

Perfect overnight experience!
Absolutely wonderful overnight stay. The evening person was tremendously helpful in checking us in and providing assistance to get us comfortable. The next morning, the young woman was so friendly and gracious in seeing to our breakfast needs. The breakfast food was wonderful! During check-out, the young woman was so very helpful in assisting us with directions to a cash machine, and watched over our luggage while we went to the cash machine. We loved this hotel and we plan to return for a longer stay later this year. It is far better than the hotel we later checked into in Nice.

Mysigt hotell i Valbonne
Jättetrevligt hotell! Fantastiskt trevlig personal. Vi bodde i familjerum högst upp i hotellet, tredje våningen. Fanns faktiskt hiss men inte hela vägen upp. För oss gjorde det inget då vi alltid tar trapporna. Vi åt inte frukosten men den såg ut som att vara värd 14€. Byn Valbonne var supermysig och rekommenderar ett besök här. Extra kul när det var Halloween firande med alla barn som var utklädda.

Charming hotel on the town square
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The hotel is located next to the town square. Convenient to the restaurants, bakery, etc. There is a Friday morning farmers market on the square. If you drive, the hotel is in the middle of a car free zone, so you need to park your car a few blocks away. Parking can be a challenge.

Nicely presented hotel right in the heart of Valbonne. Plenty of parking just outside village. Small niggles include poor wifi, shower head hose broken, bedside lamp socket not working, safe key didn’t work.

Bonjour Joey, Thanks for your nice comment about our hotel and our lovely village, Valbonne. The bedside lamps and sockets are a bit special in French hotels; The central switch by the door or by the bed has to be on to make the sockets work. I don't know what room you stayed in but we have 4 different wifi networks in the hotel and it might have been that you tried to acess a network of another floor and therefore you had a weaker signal.
