I stayed at the Franklin B&B for two nights to attend my friends wedding. I was greeted with a very warm welcome from Colin and cannot thank him enough for his help. He came out to the car to explain the parking, provided a map and explanation of the town centre and contacted the local gym on my behalf to establish the use of a power plate for my disablilties. The rooms are very clean and the food plentyful and well cooked. I would strongly recommend this B&B and thank you to Colin for making my stay so comfortable.

Great place to stay

We had an excellent trip to Canterbury at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Franklin house. It was clean, comfortable and staff very friendly and accommodating. Good location for exploring too! Would definetly recommend it! Tom and Margaret

B & B Just Out of City Centre

More of a B &B than a hotel. Difficult to access car park, but given very detailed instructions by proprietor beforehand. Very good en suite for a B &B.

Great Canterbury Hotel

We had a good time at this hotel. We were able to leave our suitcases when we arrived from the train station. Our only difficulty was that we weren't able to sit down with everyone for breakfast the next morning because we needed to leave to catch a morning train. The owner kindly gave us some breakfast foods in a bag that we could take with us. Canterbury is a wonderful town to visit but get a map as soon as you arrive because it is difficult to find your way around on its narrow streets.
