Wat een leuke oud-Hollandse verrassing.
Wat een mooi oud Hollands pand, het meubilair is wat gedateerd echter alles in zeer goede staat en passend bij het pand. We zijn heel vriendelijk ontvangen en het was ook mogelijk om eerder te ontbijten dan de standaard tijd. Ook de dames die het ontbijt verzorgden waren super vriendelijk en einde alles voor je doen. De buurt en omgeving was ook netjes en veilig.

Faultless.Period building with immaculate grounds.Large lounge and library to relax in if you didnt want to enjoy the pool and gardens. Excellent location very safe and quiet,but ideally located to explore Cape Town.If there is a better place to stay i would be extremely surprised.Breakfast gets the day of to a memorable start.Staff know what customer service is all about.I will return.Thank you to all concerned.

Very satisfactory and reasonably priced stay. Clean but fairly basic room. Good breakfast selection and secure parking. Pool was looking a bit grim when we were there so didn't use it but I think that was only temporary.

Fab B&B in Milnerton
I always enjoy my stay at Cotswold House. I am always made to feel very welcome. Denise who works in the office is lovely and very friendly as is all the staff . Marlene who cooks is a lovely host to have at breakfast. Warm,friendly and a lovely smile. The outside space is lovely with a large outdoor pool. Nearby Maestro’s on the Beach Restaurant at Woodbridge has a fabulous setting overlooking the beach and view to Table Mountain. My Citi buses run regularly into the City and Waterfront. The area is safe and there are many nature reserves nearby. Would not hesitate to recommend the fab B&B to anyone. Great value for many as well😀👍👍

Впечатления отличные. Пару дней, правда, не было воды вечером. Дом старый, сороковых годов, поэтому много интересных деталей. Океан в пешей доступности и отличный ресторан маэстро. Так же в полукилометре 3 супермаркета. Завтрак отличный, хозяева радушные, персонал приветливый, бассейн чистый.

Ein kleines Hotel und keine Bettenburg. Das Frühstück lecker und nachhaltig so das sich ein Hungergefühl auch erst nachmittags einstellt. Mit meiner Telefonkarte hatte ich Schwierigkeiten. Der Hotelservice hat sich drum gekümmert. Milnerton ist zwar etwas abseits vom Stadtkern, aber mit dem Bus kann man schnell in die Stadt fahren. Den Aufenthalt habe ich sehr genossen im Cotwold House. Lieben Dank dafür.

great stay
The room may have been small, but it had everything I needed for a 7-8 day stay. They served the BEST Breakfast I ever had; it was so convenient to take the bus to the Civic Centre and right by the sea. Very friendly staff. Hope to get the chance to visit the Cape town area in the not too distant future and stay here again

Preiswertes Wohnen direkt am Vlei
Die Lage des Guesthouse ist sehr gut direkt am Vlei und Woodbridge Island und der Strand sowie die dortigen Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die R27 geht zwar direkt am Hotel vorbei stört aber nicht wirklich. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Kitchenette das sauber aber auch relativ beengt war. Alles da alles drin aber eben wenig Platz. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wurde auf meine Wünsche hin angepasst.

Great B and B in a lovely location
Cotswold House is a lovely B and B in Milnerton. The owner said and staff make you feel very welcoming. The breakfasts are great and meet your every needs. There is the My Citi bus stop about 10 minutes walk and you can walk to the beautiful beaches in 15 mins. There is a nature reserve with lots of wildlife to see. Definitely can recommend this place.

Nicht zu empfehlen.
Der Empfang war sehr unpersönlich. Im Bad befand sich eine Ameisenstraße im sehr kleinen engen Zimmer mit alten abgenutzten Möbeln war eine Kakerlake. Das Bett war sehr schmal. Das Frühstück war eher minimalistisch und überschaubar, ohne jede Abwechslung.

Highly recommended
A great guest house in the quiet residential suburb of Milverton, only 30 minutes drive from the airport. The staff were fabulous and the location is great. Has a nice big swimming pool. The breakfast is cooked to order and was excellent. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance too. Highly recommended.

Tolles altes Hotel im kapholländischem Stil
Das Hotel ist ein altes Haus im kapholländischem Stil in gutem Zustand. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. Hervorzuheben war der sehr gute Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals, sowie das umfangreiche Frühstück. Sichere Parkplätze auf dem Gelände und eine gute Verkehrsanbindung mit kleinem Einkaufszentrum in 600m Entfernung. Netter Pool und schöner Garten machten den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

A casa é muito bem conservada, o quarto é limpo, o café da manhã é excepcional e os anfitriões são muito amigáveis, especialmente Nick. No geral A+ para o serviço. No entanto, o quarto (pelo menos o com uma cama de solteiro onde fui colocado) é MUITO pequeno, tão pequeno que nem havia espaço para colocar minha mala. O quarto parece um armário que foi transformado em uma quarto. Eu não esperava isso, já que o hotel deveria ser de 4 estrelas (o que nunca consideraria pelo quarto, seria 2,5 a 3 estrelas no máximo), e eu escolhi ele ao invés de outro 4 estrelas devido ao preço ligeiramente melhor. Eu não escolheria este novamente, a menos que fosse pelo menos 35% mais barato. Outro ponto que impede de ser classificado como 4 estrelas é que é cheio de avisos impressos em papéis e pregados nas paredes do quarto, algo comum em hostels mas jamais em um hotel 4 estrelas por não ser nada profissional. Caso não esteja de carro, o hotel é razoavelmente longe dos locais de interesse.

Nettes Guesthouse in guter Lage zur Stadt
Das Guesthouse liegt in Milnerton, von dort sind es knapp 10 km bis ins Stadtzentrum. Ein paar Gehminuten entfernt ist eine Bushaltestelle mit perfekter Busanbindung bis zur Waterfront. Das Haus ist gemütlich und sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich und stets um das Wohlergehen der Gäste besorgt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielseitig und ausreichend und findet fast in "familiärer" Atmosphäre statt. Die Zimmer sind mit allem was man braucht (jedoch relativ einfach) eingerichtet und sauber - aber zum schlafen reicht es allemal, da wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren. Für den Leihwagen stand immer ein Platz im gesicherten Hofbereich zur Verfügung. Auf dem Zimmer gibt's die Möglichkeit, sich selber einen Kaffee oder Tee zuzubereiten, ein Kühlschrank ist auch vorhanden. Vom Guesthaus hatte man einen tollen Blick auf auf den Tafelberg - und vom quasi gegenüber liegenden Woodbridge Island ebenso auf die Sonnenuntergänge. Ich kann Cotswold House als Startpunkt für die Erkundungen rund um Kapstadt uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Great location and cost
Excellent hotel close to beach and Cape Town. Stayed 3 nights in a single room. Hotel is a very nice, traditional English style facility in a residential neighborhood. Comfortable room, great breakfast and a very secure feeling facility. Beautiful pool and outdoor gardens. Highly recommended.

It was a great stay in Cotswold house. A quaint little guest house run by an ederly couple - with free parking space, loved the place, its rooms and the general atmosphere. The location also is in a quiet and upscale neighbourhood away from the hustle bustle of the town. very near to the beach. The owners/staff were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this to people visiting capetown. Suitable for families as well.

Das B+B ist gemütlich und sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich.Besonders erwähnen möchte ich Astrid - Danke für die mütterliche Herzlichkeit und Bettina, die immer gute Tipps auf Lager hat. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielseitig und ausreichend. Das Einzelzimmer ist etwas klein ausgefallen, aber zum schlafen reicht es allemal, da ich den ganzen Tag unterwegs war.Kühlschrank ist auf dem Zimmer und die Möglichkeit sich selber einen Kaffee oder Tee zuzubereiten. Das B+B liegt in Milnerton, knapp 10 km ins Stadtzentrum. Ein paar Gehminuten entfernt ist eine Bushaltestelle - perfekte Verbindung bis zur Waterfront. Toller Blick auf auf den Tafelberg, ebenso die Sonnenuntergänge auf Woodbridge Island. Bei Strandspaziergängen kann man super die Kite-Surfer beobachten. Ich kann Cotswold House nur empfehlen.
