You don't always get what you pay for

Originally booked for the guesthouse/room as the room looked beautiful, along with the deep soak bath; but on arrival the room was very small and inside the guesthouse, the other rooms were very close together. We asked to move which thankfully they allowed us to do so. We moved to the cheaper cottage which was much bigger and had more privacy. While I was grateful they let us move, they were not aware of my payment and were not very friendly or make me feel very at home.

Bedrooms needed a bit of an update. Unpleasant issue with an infestation of ants which was quickly resolved by moving us to another room. Staff were absolutely amazing though so this more than made up for it. Nothing was too much trouble. On the outskirts of Stellenbosch - about 12 miles - in case you want to be in the centre. But great views from the guest house.

Cama, lençol e travesseiro muito confortáveis. Quarto amplo. Serviço de lavanderia sem custo extra. Único inconveniente foi o café da manhã que demorou 50 minutos no último dia p ser servido, apesar de ser muitooo bom!

Amazing place! I felt like at home! Beautiful and comfortable room! Courteous staff! I was blocked in a traffic and couldn’t arrive in time for the check in. The receptionist tried to contact me but my Brazilian phone number was not working. So, the keys were there and he neighbor could open the house for us. Our room was there, comfortable, perfect! Unfortunately we spent only one night at the place.
