We chose our location for close its proximity to the beach, penguins and restaurants and had the house designed and custom built 12 year ago to be a guest house with spacious en-suite rooms and large windows to make the most of our views and natural light. We believe in good quality mattresses and linen for a good sleep and update the décor every so often. I'm happy that you liked it!

Hi Danie, I realise you decided not to stay in the end because we don't have a swimming pool, but we are walking distance to Seaforth and Boulders beaches, which are lovely swimming beaches. If you had stayed, you might have found that our services and facilities are more than just "okay". The room that you had booked is spacious with a balcony overlooking the Simon's Town harbour with beautiful sea views. Our breakfast is fantastic, offering a Continental Buffet and cooked breakfast to order, with free high-speed WiFi and satellite TV as added conveniences to our guests. We would have loved to have the opportunity to show you our friendly hospitality. We love what we do and hope to welcome more guests who will enjoy our high quality services and facilities in future.

Unsere Lage am Berghang weniger als einen Kilometer von der Hauptstraße bedeutet, dass Sie einen einfachen Zugang zu allen lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten unserer schönen und historischen Küstenstadt haben, wir freuen uns sehr, dass Sie es genossen haben, zu erkunden! Wir haben drei Ebenen im Haupthaus, die durch kurze Schritte zwischen ihnen zugänglich sind, da das Gästehaus zu klein ist, um einen Aufzug zu benötigen. Wir empfehlen das Luxury Room auf der Hauptebene des Hauses für diejenigen, die weniger Stufen bevorzugen.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately these little black ants have made a bit of a nuisance of themselves this year. They visit in our dry summer months and normally keep to themselves. We try to operate as an eco-friendly house, so don't like to use strong chemicals or poisons. We will, however look into alternative solutions to get rid of the ants.

I am glad to hear that UBER worked well. Even though we are within a kilometre from most restaurants and beaches, some guests also make use of our local shuttle service. We can also arrange transfers to one of our fantastic local restaurants.

How lovely to receive your feedback. Thank you! We are happy to learn that the Garden Apartment worked for you as this is the newest addition to our room options. The idea was to add a self-catering option, also suitable for families and those who perhaps want to stay longer, to have more space and flexibility. We then offer the option to add on breakfast in the main house for those who don't feel like cooking! ;) We hope to welcome you back one day!

Thank you for your feedback. I'm happy to hear that our Sail Rooms worked well for you. These two rooms with the interconnecting door also serves as our Family Unit, so it's great for parents and children sharing, but still having their own independent rooms. We normally make use of private transfer companies if guests need transport to or from the guesthouse, but it's best to arrange these a few hours ahead of time. Otherwise Uber is also useful.
