The staff were great. Couldnt be more helpful. Hotel was fine. Maybe due to SA power generation issues but the AC made a noise, but didnt seem to be cold. Other slight negative was that the hotel name says its at the Waterfront. But we were advised it wasnt safe to walk anywhere from hotel so had to rely extensively on Ubers. Which were very cheap. Overall would recommend.

All in all cannot fault the hotel. Great condition, food is good and staff are very helpful. I stayed for 11 nights along with 4 colleagues for a work trip. Would have given 5 starts except all of my colleagues received a welcome gift and complimentary mid-stay gift and I received nothing

We were very comfortable during our stay and had all our requests taken care of. It was convenient to take the shuttle to the V&A Waterfront and which we did a few times for both shopping and dining.

The hotel was ideally located for us to explore Cape Town and a very short walk from the V&A waterfront district. The hotel did offer a shuttle bus service but we wanted to walk and see everything. The breakfast and choice was excellent. The staff were very helpful, courteous and polite. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Location.
I have stayed here a few times over the years but have not been back for a few years. The hotel is very well located at the bottom of city bowl and close to the waterfront. The rooms are well kitted out and clean. The hotel needs a little attention on upkeep generally but it is very good value. The breakfast was not a good as I remember.

Beds not Comfortable
Good stay. Great staff. Good location. Found the beds and pillows were not up to standard and the mattresses fitted left the corners of the beds exposed, meaning that we were bumping shins and knees when walking past the bed.
