"A nice, small, family-owned hotel with a pool and
spa area, and a restaurant with the most exquisite food. What I missed in the building was a lift - as all the rooms are on the first and second floors and I was not the only guest with bad knees or hips. Also the stairs to get into and out of the pool are very high and hard to climb for a slightly disadvantaged older person. "People at the reception were rude. Everything is closed from noon to 3pm. So all indoor activities are closed even if the weather is bad. Children are not allowed to the indoor pool except very early in the morning or one hour before closing. We came to have swimming activities with our child when the weather is bad.... Fail.
Also the mini golf was not "open" anymore. The only thing they would have to do is clean it. The playground and the gym were also very run down. "

"A cosy and beautiful hotel with nice rooms and a garden with a nice pool. The coupe who owns the hotel is very friendly and service minded! The meals are homecooked and delicious. The vine is local and the sorroundings are beautiful.

Best accommodation in France!
"We travelled 4 weeks through France.
From Paris to St Tropez and back to Bordeaux and stayed at 8 hotels (all 5Star) This was our favourite by far. The personal touches, the amazing staff and the Chateau itself are all impeccable. Antony without prompting arranged our dinner and lunches as well as wine tasting locally. Nothing was too difficult and everyone from breakfast service to evening drink service couldn’t be more delightful. This will be our first stop on our next trip. "
