The hotel is within the walls of the citadel. There is a shuttle service for your luggage after the taxi drops you off as taxi's cannot enter the walled town. Great to stay and be able to walk around at night and experience Carcassone.

The hotel is inside of the old Carcassonne and that is very convenient for site seeing and dining. The parking is outside of the walls, there is a shuttle cars for transportation to the hotel.

Interesting hotel right inside the walls. That part was excellent. The hotel was perhaps a little under staffed and had challenges managing checkouts of several independent guests with luggage trying to get rides out of the walls to the parking. The bathroom was bright clean and modern. Breakfast was very nice. It didn’t seem like the hotel had an operating bar or restaurant the night we checked in. It was raining so we had to go out looking for options, which was fine but I’m not sure why the hotel didn’t have its own amenities. Maybe they don’t have enough customers and everyone heads out to the town square.

Old hotel which could use some modernization. The rooms on the ground floor had a nice little terrace but if the doors slammed in the corridor the room would shake. Plus, we had a neighbour who smoked cigars outside our window, so made the room smell. The team moved us to a great quiet room, which was appreciated.

The staff was very nice, however the reason I do not give a review of excellence is because when I got my room after 15:00 arrival, it was not ready and I noticed certain peculiarities: the bed sheets had some black marks, like mascara, and I wondered if they really changed the sheets or because they were in a hurry to prepare the room for me they didn’t change the sheets. The shower was clogged, so I had to harry up and had to rinse my feet after the shower. On one side of the shower, there were some brown marks that I didn’t want to touch the walls. Breakfast was good, and as I said before the staff was very friendly,

The property was very well located and staff was helpful and kind! Check-in and check out were both very easy. Our room was rather dated and could use a deep clean, but it was generally clean overall and the view of the castle was amazing. Breakfast was good. Air conditioning worked well!

Ideal Hotel for Exploring Carcassonne. Located within the ancient walls, the hotel offers a wonderful opportunity to inhabit the medieval city, at least for a short while. Good dining venues are only a few steps away. Convenient check-in and baggage assistance. Good Breakfast.

So well located within the walls of the medieval citadel. While parking was off site, the attendant drove me an my luggage to the hotel - in a tiny electric car made necessary by the very narrow streets in the citadel
