“We enjoyed our stay. All staff were very friendly and extremley helpful. One slightly bad thing that happened was that on their end our reservation was listed for Tuesday through Thursday instead of Sunday through Tuesday. But they rectified the situation and gave us a bogger room. ”

“We love our room, it was comfortable. The restaurant is amazing and staff is very friendly. We were a little bit worried about some bats hanging outside the bathroom (behind the fence). Our room didn't have air conditioning but it wasn't necessary at all, the design of the room make it very confortable. ”

“We stayed six nights. Everyone was nice. The rooms are super clean and they cleaned the pool constantly even if it was raining. The grounds are well kept and the howler monkeys came by to eat in the morning but didn't make noise. The only noise was a rooster down the street that crowed at 3:00am. The food was good and we will stay here again without question. If you don't want to be in the crowded area of Puerto Viejo then this is the place to be.”

“Casa Merlin is beautiful place, clean and in an excellent condition. Good price and excellent service. The matress are a little bit soft for me.”
