The property has a guard that is there in the evening and helped us get on our way with fresh fruit and banana bread the kitchen prepared for us for our early departure at 5 am!
Was close to Puerto Viejo’s busy area but nice to be away from the hustle of that. Enjoyed being able to retire to a quiet space with a restaurant that included breakfast...
“Beachfront Bungalows Hotel is an excellent choice for the Costa Rican traveler who is looking for a Caribbean jungle and beach experience in one location. Sloths, Macaws. Monkeys, etc. are all part of the stay there, with a beautiful beach mere steps away. The staff, service and food were wonderful. Hot breakfasts are served every morning and a beautiful pool and 2 jacuzzis are the center point of relaxation.”

“Our stay at Samasati was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was so beautiful - we saw so much wildlife and loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof and waking up with the birds and monkeys. I love that it was removed from the fast pace of the road and beaches, but close enough to spend the day out and about. ”
“These property is in the middle of a lagoon and you can only access by boat (like alll tortuguero) it has an amazing forest with lots of animals, we saw monkey birds etc.

“Where do I begin? The photo match the property! The staff, amazing! Its a bilingual facility and they take credit cards. I loved that we could order food using WhatsApp. The food was delivered fast and hot! We were in a 3 bedroom bungalow , everyone fit comfortably and there's a waher and dryer in the unit! BONUS!”
“Der Aufenthalt in Playa Negra Guesthouse war sehr erholsam. Sobald man das Gelände betritt, ist man fasziniert von dem gepflegten Garten und der Vielfalt an Tieren. Wir hatten das Glück ca. 2 m von unserer Terrasse ein Faultier zu beobachten, wie es vom Baum herunterklettert. Beide Gastgeber waren herzlich und sorgten für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Strand Playa Negra liegt direkt gegenüber dem Grundstück.

Balcony had a lovely swinging seat overlooking the river
Breakfasts were fruit plus fish of your choice and was excellent
Trails around the hotel were great to see frogs and birds
We did a fantastic magical kayaking trip which is a must
We visited national park to see turtles laying eggs, unfortunately she Borykng the hole before laying eggs but we did see the turtle going back to the sea and...
