"We enjoyed a generally pleasant stay at Riu Palace. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the food offered both good quality and a satisfying variety. The beach itself is attractive and easy to access, though it is relatively small for a property of this size. That limited beach area creates a noticeable shortage of palapas, which means guests need to wake up around 6 a.m. to secure one - a significant inconvenience. The consistently windy conditions also reduce the availability of water‑sport activities. In addition, the elevators in the hotel buildings are slow enough to become frustrating, and the nightly entertainment felt more like an underwhelming school performance than a professional show."

"Highly recommend this place! Our condo had a full kitchen. Plenty of amenities in the grounds like pool, hot tub, on the beach and a bar/restaurant. However the place is about an hour from San juan, so if you're planning excursions, keep that in mind. We did excursions so doing Uber back and forth was pretty expensive ($60 each way), so consider renting a car. There's no grocery store in walking distance either so consider that is an Uber as well, unless you have a car. Highly recommend a car service that stays on hotel grounds for nearby travel as well as a frozen yogurt stand!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Wonderful Experience, Friendly Staff, and Great Value for Money! Overall, I would give this hotel 5 out of 5 stars! What truly makes this place special is the amazing staff. Everyone is friendly, courteous, welcoming, and very accommodating. They make you feel comfortable and valued as a guest, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel is definitely worth every penny! While there is still room for improvement, I believe this place has so much potential to become even better. I would love to see a few improvements in the future: - Shuttle Service: Providing transportation or shuttle services would make it more convenient for guests. - More Tours and Excursions: Offering a wider variety of tours would give guests more opportunities to explore and enjoy their vacation. - More Activities and Entertainment: Activities such as jet skiing, karaoke nights, dancing, Zumba classes, and other fun group activities would make the stay even more exciting. - Better Food Options and Service: A wider selection of meals, improved food quality, better cooking, and more efficient dining service would greatly enhance the experience. - Currency and Bill Exchange Machine: It would be helpful to have a machine that can exchange larger bills for smaller denominations, similar to the change machines available in laundromats. - Improved Lighting: Additional lighting around the hotel premises and inside the rooms would make the environment more comfortable, convenient"
