Fairmont El San Juan Hotel

"We visit Puerto Rico every year and we LOVE the El San Juan. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the amenities and the beach are outstanding. Highly recommend the Meat Market the service and food was amazing!!! The stores are very expensive but having Starbucks onsite was a plus. We loved the Chandelier Bar and the casino! The staff on the beach are awesome and set you up for the day with chairs and umbrellas. We love staying her."

"Our room was very clean. We really enjoyed the ocean view and when we would go out for the day and return to our room, it was cleaned very well. The staff was very good. However, we did have two unpleasant experiences. One was when we were at vibe barbecue and I requested a blue Hawaiian non-alcoholic drink. The bartender got angry and was saying that he was not able to make it and became upset with my request and the other staff members that were there noticed it and immediately came in to help me get what I wanted, and they were very friendly, and I am very appreciative of them, stepping in and taking care of the situation. Also, as we were checking out, our taxi driver up, charged us for the drive to the airport when the sign clearly said $29 he immediately told us it was $40 the second we pulled off and was very rude. It was not a problem we were going to tip him anyway, but in the manner that he said it was very cold and unfriendly but overall our stay at the resort was very nice and we really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it."

"Beautiful small hotel. The beach is def not very safe to swim. The pool was fabulous. A relaxing location. Only one spot on site to eat so we went out of the resort , very good local restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable."
