“This was our second time staying at Caribbean Shores. It's clean, comfortable, and the setting is very relaxing. The hot water wasn't working properly in our shower, but it was at least warmer than the solar showers where we stayed prior. Everything is relative. :). This property is a little ways out of Hopkins Village proper, but there are restaurants in short walking distance. It's also not on the beach, but we weren't looking for that since we liked the location for access to...

“Nice greeting from the staff as we entered. Pretty and spacious rooms, most with balconies overlooking the pool and sea. Bikes, kayaks available for free or rent a fishing pole and go fishing. Restaurant offered delicious breakfast and has live entertainment on some nights. The pool is smaller but very nice with a swim up bar. Plenty of lounges available around the pool or right on the beach. 20/25 minute walk to the center od town or rent a golf cart from the resort. ”

“Great stay staff were all wonderful room was clean and spacious. Restaurant was awesome both food and service. Pool was large has a swim up bar. We were welcomed on arrival by an alligator (leave him alone and he’ll leave you alone) and lots of Iguana’s. Would recommend renting a vehicle or golf cart the village is about a 30 minute drive. ”

“We loved our stay at umaya. The beach is awesome. The whole pool area/chairs/dock and set up are awesome too. So great that you can also borrow Kayaks and paddle boards (which we did) to have morning paddles when the ocean is calmer. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff helpful and accommodating and the food at the hotel was good as well. There are also many restaurants and a supermarket (10 min drive) close to umaya without having to always make the drive...
