“A good spot welcoming at check in”

“This property was a unique property in the city of Harrisburg. Once slated for demolition it went up for auction in the past 5 years and was purchased by a couple that completely renovated it. It was tastefully done with very spacious rooms, wonderful sitting areas, coffee/tea stations throughout, and a great breakfast! I would highly recommend staying here! We will be back!”

“ The first night the room was too hot because we did not not think about turning the heater off. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping. The hospitality was wonderful and breakfast was great. We learned a lot of Civil war history. We were surprised to find that the other couple staying there was from our hometown also.”

“The room was lovely, and the whole experience was just great. Two suggestions. A reading light on both sides of the bed was sorely missed, and lighting in the bathroom was dim. “We stayed at the Mooreland Garden Inn on a recent weekend. To say that this place is a gem is an understatement. The hosts, Dawn and Bruce, are amazing, both in their kindness, ability to meet your needs, and generosity. They go above and beyond. The house itself is beautiful and situated in a quiet, walkable area right adjacent to the Dickinson College campus. We walked everywhere since it was so convenient. The room was generous, and we were asked about our comfort and the temperature....
