This is a great place to stay. Right across the street from the beach, you can sit on the deck and watch the sunset while enjoying a drink, swim in the heated pool or sit by the outdoor fireplace. Just minutes up the street are lots of restaurants and shopping, all within just three or four blocks of the hotel. The staff are super friendly, and it is in a very quiet part of town. I am definitely going to stay here next time I am in Carlsbad!

This property is awesome! Clean, quiet, and literally across the street from the beach! Beautiful fire pit, amazing balcony deck to sit and watch the ocean and passersby. So relaxing and beautiful. Breakfast was great and varieties of coffee. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great location, lots of restaurants and bars close by. Best part is having the beach right across the street. The courtyard is beautiful with a fire pit and pool. The room was basic but larger than most. Staff was wonderful.

Unbelievable experience. I stayed here many times years ago. This was a definite step up from past management. Great linens, loved the fireplace in the room, enjoyed the ocean view deck for incredible sunsets nightly and the breakfast was the best selection we have ever had. Great staff!!!!! Will definitely return. Used the trolley for free from Airport to Old Town and the Coaster train to Carlsbad. Used the train to go to Oceanside to Pronto office to fix ticket purchase issue and then to Downtown to take the Sea boat excursion and lunch at Seaport Village.

We loved the location. We had a view of the beach from our balcony and the hotel is literally across the street from Carlsbad park and beach. The hotel is old but nearly completely renovated. We loved the breakfast room and patio views as well. We would stay here again!
