A lovely hotel- intimate, tucked into a quiet corner of the beachfront promenade. A pleasant 15 minute walk to the centre of town, with all of its shops, bars and restaurants. Carnac is a charming beach town, and the Churchill was the perfect spot from which to enjoy a beach holiday. Between the pool, the spa, and the beach, you'll have everything you need. We had a second-floor room with balcony overlooking the pool and the beach, well worth it! Big bathtub to warm up and relax if it rains. Staff were warmly welcoming
Breakfast had something for everyone, from eggs to pastries, yoghurt, cereals and local jams. Worth the โฌ19 if you're not eager to trek into town in the morning. And lots of free parking in front of the hotel, even mid-July! So many good restaurants in town, lots of kids, families, grandparents having a good time, and free from the noise and hassle of loud music and garish commercialism one might expect from a beach resort. A wonderful alternative to the bustle and stifling heat of the Cรดte d'Azur. We'd love to come back.
