“Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.”

“We were comfortable in our room but we found it unusual that the cleaning staff weren’t cleaning rooms until very late in the day. So the first day we said just leave our room for today but we do require a few things (TP and coffee). Other than that our room was never refreshed at all. The front of the property had two lovely patio sets however staff had overlooked cleaning them, so we gave them a quick brush off so we could use them. “We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10”

“Extremely poor communication ”

“Came for a 5-night break in the Lake District, this B & B did not disappoint. The owners Susann & Glenn were very welcoming. Shoes are left at the door, so do bring slippers. The rooms are bright, spotlessly clean, well furnished with tea, coffee & biscuits plus a small fridge, all thoughtfully and immaculately presented.
