I like this property and I met the owner very humble and friendly man. Breakfast and coffee were good. Its made to order no buffet with cheap options. Rooms are clean and quiet on my side. Rooftop with pool is very relaxing . I gave 5 stars but just a couple things no towels in my friend's room or my room when we went to take a shower. I guess they forgot . Also I did get a recommendation from the one of the ladies at the reception area for a guy who does tours to the beach. and other places . I decided to take trip to the beach the last day before I left and it was very disorganized frustrating trip and no one spoke English. I tried to converse with the guy William which I was told by reception he spoke English but he did not answer, the phone,he just wanted to text which was concerning. Anyway I do not suggest using this guy to organize any trips. Otherwise my stay for 3 days was nice.

Only stayed one night at the end of our trip but was very impressed. Incredible architecture, friendly staff and a very nice room. The bathroom was especially nice. Spacious with great tile work. Also the onsite library is must see.

I stayed here with my partner for a friends wedding and it was extremely comfortable. At the time I went the city was having issues with water, no water in many restaurants and other hotels; Casa Cordoba always had water with great water pressure and temperature. The bed was extremely comfortable I only had a good nights sleep. Staff were amazing and kind, breakfast that was included was delicious. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owners husband and had a pleasant conversation with him. Overall place was very tranquil even familiar to me. I felt right at home :) . Thank you Casa Cordoba for a pleasant experience.

Beautiful property
Beautiful old home restored with amazing furniture in common rooms. Nice small rooftop pool for sunset. Service a bit slow. We had a nice big room with King bed.

The staff was so polite and organized a car to pick me up at the airport for a very reasonable price. They even let me extend my checkout at no extra charge!

I liked the ambience of a colonial period style of the building, the furnishings which evoked the era., etc. The staff was very responsive and helpful. What I abhorred was the high decibel noise of a wedding celebration next door on a Saturday late into the night, it gave me a headache, I couldn’t sleep, the staff let me move to another room for the night where the noise was negligible so I could sleep. The hotel staff had no authority to do anything about it legally because it was not their property.

Property is extremely charming love the colonial style. Beautiful details. I enjoyed exploring the library. The staff was excellent. The room was small but that was ok. We did have problems with the hot water as it was too hot & had trouble regulating it at the shower. For the cost of the room the hotel should offer a few more aminities such as body cream, blow dryers n possibly slippers. Breakfast included was satisfying. We had a lovely time.

This property was in the heart of Wall City. The bedrooms were outdated and the air condition hardly worked. For the money I paid we should at least have a comfortable sleeping environment. It’s super centrally located, in walking distance to every important site. This boutique hotel is so beautiful, it feels like living in the colonial times. I loved the library on the second floor, and its balconies.

So much to like about Casa Cordoba Estrella. Staff was amazing the entire stay. Morning breakfast is made to order with incredible fresh fruit, fresh juice, eggs and more. The location seemed to be less than a five minute walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Room was very large and air conditioning worked great. Staff made sure that our morning transportation to the airport (4:30 am) was on time. Would stay here again for sure.

One of the most unique, charming hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The structure and design of the hotel was beautiful, the room was extremely comfortable (and had AC), the staff was friendly and attentive, the pool was a bit small, but clean and refreshing, and the breakfasts were delicious. The location was on a slightly quieter street in the middle of the old town, which was extremely convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place, excellent service. Rooms are very spacious, the washroom is huge and its floor tiles resemble colonial times. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only sad part is saying goodbye and coming back to the arctic cold.

Great if looking for a basic stay without comforts
This property is very secure and in a good location. The issues we had are that the room never really cooled down, the bed was short, and the wifi would cut out during usage. Room is equipped with a wall mount A/C and overhead fan. But our room had doors to a balcony and to the inner courtyard that were not flush with the floor. So no matter how much you run the A/C the room didn’t completely cool down. Not great in the 100 degrees, 100% humidity. Also the A/C didn’t reach the bathroom. The bed was very short for a “queen”. My husband is 6’2” and couldn’t fit top to bottom on the mattress. These might not be issues for you, and if not it’s a great place to stay. But for what we were expecting based on the description it didn’t quite fit our needs.

The best location EVER! The hotel is an old structure and therefore has old plumbing, the walls sweat during the day, minimal amenities (pool is tiny). The bathroom towels are clean but are old. When we arrived we had to have our pillowcases changed due to visible stains. The staff are THE BEST! They make up for the above discrepancies. Breakfast if good but the same every day. I would stay there again only for the staff ( they made us feel at home).

Great location right in the center of the old city. It was a 10-15 minute walk to pretty much anywhere you wanted to go. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Air conditioning worked great and the shower was awesome. Breakfast was included and was pretty good but there are so many great cafes to walk to that we chose to skip breakfast most days. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cartagena.

Great location disappointing rooms
Most rooms do not have a window to the outdoors. TV only worked 1 day. No explanation given. Faucet leaked in bathroom so couldn’t leave things on the vanity.

Great location
The place was very nice and the staff too. Saturday night was loud as there is a cub near by. However we did go to bed early and used ear plugs. I would stay here again because the place is beautiful and very centrally located.
