The property is not in Portimao but where it is located is absolutely perfect, walking distance to cliffs and beaches, beautiful sky bar, all to experience sunsets. And, whether you walk left or right out of the property, so many restaurants!

We discovered the Tivoli Carvoeiro last summer and loved it so much that we came back for a second stay this year—and it was just as incredible as we remembered. The hotel is even more beautiful in person than it is in the pictures, with breathtaking views, a gorgeous setting, and such a special atmosphere. It truly feels like a little piece of paradise for our family. We had another wonderful stay and will definitely be back for a third time one day. Highly recommend!

The restaurants and pool area were absolutely spectacular. Nothing can beat the views. However the rooms were lacking. The beds were very uncomfortable and the deluxe room was smaller than expected. The rooms and hallways could use an upgrade.

Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. We had a magnificent view of the cliffs overlooking the beach and the swimming pool from the terrace of our room, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was elegant, varied and quite delicious. We could not have been more pleased and plan on gifting a trip here to our son for a honeymoon.

The Tivoli Carvoeiro is really a lovely hotel with modern, luxury style rooms and amenities inside the rooms. The breakfast is extremely abundant with almost anything you could imagine in one room. Ask for a table outside as the views of the pool, caves and inlet are delightful. Also we attended a wedding here in the cliff overlooking the water. It could not have been more picturesque! It was a wedding for the ages. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The location and view were amazing The room service and staff responses a bit on the slow side. Water pressure was not as expected and shower floods to the outside of the stall. Drinks are expensive.
