This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The property is pristine, located within a gorgeous 17th century baronial palace. The scenery is picture perfect and the staff are very polite with a good communication skills in English. The location can make the place a little difficult to find, but well worth it. The food and drinks are delicious. For lower price options, there are a couple of bars and restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend.
Magical place surrounded by wine yards and olive trees. So quiet , peaceful and relaxing . We enjoyed pool and bar and they organised amazing dinner for us. So delicious local food. Highly recommend to stay there while you in area or just want to relax .
Beautiful castle and scenery. The room was spacious calm and very nicely decorated. Very friendly hosts also. We also enjoyed the pool and the restaurant.
The 4 course dinner and wine pairing were indulgent and fabulous. This is a great place to view the valley where Montepulciano grapes originate while sipping its wine. I would highly recommend!
Best hotel we’ve stayed during our trips to Abruzzo. Beautiful inside and out. Friendly and very proficient staff who made us welcome (not always the case with English speakers in Abruzzo). The food was great too - we had an exceptional dinner. Great value compared to others.
This was a magical place to stay from the moment we checked in. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The grounds are breathtaking. We enjoyed the pool for a quiet afternoon swim. The room was comfortable and had everything we would need. The castle itself was amazing to walk through and the staff graciously answered any questions we had. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy. We felt like royalty! Highly recommend!
Loved the castle. Little confusing to find at first but just called and asked for help and they were really nice and helpful. Beautiful place well managed and worth the trip. Would definitely recommend this place.
I loved everything about this place, but I especially liked the staff. They were so genuinely friendly, especially the night guardian who told us a lot of history about the castle. These people work hard! We will be back as we are moving to the area and hope to take part in their events. Room was exceptional; we slept well. Lovely big cappuccino for breakfast. Worth every penny. Perhaps the best place to stay in this part of the world.
This is a beautiful property. Only 11 rooms, each are unique. The food is excellent as is the wine. The castello has 4 different labels to choose from. The pool was not open in early may but appears to be clean and well maintained. We did not use the exercise room. If you wish to do a wine tasting contact the staff prior to arrival. A tasting must be requested two days in advance.
This was an amazing property, a really unique experience. The rooms and facilities were very modern and comfortable but all contained in a historic and delightful castle. Incredible views, helpful staff and food was delicious!
