We were a family of four, and after a 4-hour plane ride, a 2-hour customs line, and a 3½-hour drive from San José Airport, we arrived at the hotel completely exhausted. “Nice little spot. Close to Manuel Antonio Beach and Manuel Antonio Park. Nice pool and hot tub you can use anytime. It's clean and has what you need. Breakfast is not included but is good and reasonably priced. It's on someone's private property. Parking is a bit tight but manageable. ”

They thought of everything in anticipation of guests needs, including sensors, unlimited coffee and lighting. “Had an awesome view of rainforest from the room. Saw Tucan birds and monkeys from the room. The location is awesome with a 360 degree view from the top of the rainforest, mountains. Got to see beautiful sunrise and sunset. Restaurant and bar was nice as well. Highly recommend.”

“Overall it was underwhelming. The photos make it appear much nicer than it really is. Quite rundown in areas, and virtually no frills in the bar or restaurant area. Food quality was decent - sushi was the best thing we ate. Overall it seems like it was an updated resort back in the day but has not been kept up. The serving staff in the restaurant and bar were lovely. ”

“This property is at an intersection on a main road and a bus stop shelter built into the facade in front of the hotel. Lots of steps to climb so keep that in mind with luggage. It is not near any markets or restaurants. Some rooms are renovated and others are not. The sliding doors have no screens and there and no privacy sheers. The unit was clean as well as the pool area and the manager was a rock star.”
