"The staff were great. The cleaning of the room was excellent. The breakfast was enjoyable. Nicely located near to the station and an easy walk into the centre"

"I stayed at the Hotel Plaza 3 or 4 years ago and loved it; this time, not so much. It is in a great location, the housekeeping staff does a great job, and the breakfast has a pretty good variety. However, the property is rather shabby; the rooms need repainting and the carpet in the room needs to be replaced; I don't think even a good cleaning would help it. After a week's stay, we had an early plane to catch and asked if a breakfast box could be arranged as we would be leaving before breakfast. We were pretty much told no because the breakfast was included in the cost of the room so we hadn't paid extra for it. Instead, we were told to pick up some items from the hospitality bar which we hadn't known existed until that moment. This little room has coffee and snacks available to the guests and the reception clerk should have told us about this on our arrival, but didn't. If we hadn't asked for breakfast boxes on our last day, we would never had known about it. In general, reception was less than helpful and seemed to resent it every time we asked a question, so we stopped asking. There are a few other hotels in this location and I might try one of those next time I go to Pescara."

"I have traveled much of the world, and this is the loveliest hotel in which I have ever stayed. Gorgeous restored castle, beautiful grounds, lovely evening, meals on the lawn, and wonderful attentive staff. I cannot wait to come back! All of their rooms appear to be lovely, you cannot go wrong."

We leave with gratitude and every intention of returning as Marco and Isabella are exceptional hosts!!! From the moment we arrived, every detail reflected exceptional care and refinement. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and the owners were simply outstanding — gracious, attentive, and far beyond anything we could have hoped for. Their warmth and dedication made our stay feel deeply personal. The breakfast, lovingly prepared by Marco, deserves special recognition. It was truly spectacular — beautifully presented in an exquisite setting, with elegant table service, fresh pastries, fruit, espresso, juices, and thoughtfully prepared dishes that made our morning feel like an occasion - with a curated playlist to boot. It was not merely breakfast, but an experience in itself! Thank you again Marco and Isabella, we hope to have the opportunity to be your guests again in the future 😊"

"Had an emergency and had to be admitted to hospital, messaged the hotel to explain and asked if they could kindly move the stay date an extra 24 hours, no cancellation...no empathy, took the money and cancelled the booking....if that's the kind of hotel that they are, enjoy the money, I'm not that desperate....karma will find a way to return the favour ...so the rating that I would give them is.... Really there are no minuses"
