Gut erhaltenen und unterhaltene Herrschaftsvilla mit moderner Infrastruktur. Poolanlage. Schöne Zimmer mit Ausblick. Gute Betten. Hervorragend ist jedoch das Frühstücksbuffet und die integrierte Osteria mit sensationeller Küche. Ein Genuss.

Aussichtslage und fine dining
Sehr schöne Villa in Aussichtslage über dem Val die Chiana. Sehr freundlicher Service, schöner Pool und - während unseres Aufenthaltes im Mai 2021 - ausgezeichnetes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Das dazugehörige (aber getrennt betriebene) Restaurant ist sogar einen eigenen Aufenthalt wert. Fine dining zu einem bemerkenswert guten Preis. Der Zufahrtsweg ist relativ schmal. Der Parkplatz dann sehr grosszügig.

Hotel da vera Toscana ma sicuramente migliorabile
Hotel un po attempato necessiterebbe una rivisitazione delle sue camere Spartane e con impianto elettrico da potenziare. Poco gradevole il pungente odore di aglio proveniente dalle cucine che si propaga per le scale e quindi sino davanti la porta delle camere. Personale sempre gentilissimo e attento. la strada di accesso alla struttura non è delle più felici. la posizione e la tranquillità è da 10 !

We komen zeker terug!
Dit Hotel is echt heel leuk, de ontvangst was hartverwarmend. Inchecken ging top en de eigenaresse was behulpzaam en enthousiast over van alles aan het vertellen. Prachtig gelegen zwembad, was voor mijzelf een beetje te koud. Het eten in het restaurant is geweldig. Een echte aanrader dus. Ontbijt ondanks Covid maatregelen prima geregeld.

Villa Schiatti is a lovely position with its stunning outlook to the valley and its proximity to Castiglion Fiorentino, About the only negative we had was the lack of venue choice for the evening meal - perhaps if there was something available earlier, maybe downstairs with a more casual menu that included pizzas etc.

Nice small hotel with friendly service
Lovely hotel, booked an apartment so rooms was large. Bed was comfortable. Strange arrangement with the onsite restaurant (not run by the hotel) where you have to pay for everything separately - would it be that hard to setup a billing arrangement with the hotel? Food was pretty good though considering there are no other restaurants for miles. Hotel pool was lovely and the kids play area a nice touch.

Pleasant stay with a view
Great place for staying a few days, relaxing or exploring the area. Beautiful view, nice pool and very friendly staff. 20 min. from the motorway. Try the roof top restaurant, if for nothing else then the amazing view. We would come again if ever in the area again. Recommended.

A traditional Tuscan experience
Villa Schiatti is a gorgeous and rustic hotel to stay near Cortona and surrounding villages. The rooms are authentic and well equipped with private bathroom and fridge, safe etc. and clean bed and towels. The wifi was adequate, a little slow depending on time of day but good to switch off from the world occasionally. The staff were wonderful and very helpful and also spoke English well. The buffet breakfast was extensive and the coffee good. We also ate dinner twice during our stay which was also quite nice. We also used the drop off and pick up service to the train station to catch a train to Firenze which takes only about an hour. The gardens and grounds were beautiful and well kept, if only we had come in summer and we could have used the pool which was also immaculate. Extremely good value for a traditional Tuscan experience.

Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel, früher wohl mal eine Fattoria. Sehr netter und unkomplizierter Service, vom Einchecken bis zum Auschecken. Innenhof zur Allgemeinnutzung, erstklassiges Restaurant (unabhängig vom Hotel), grosser Pool, ordentliches Frühstück. Gut gelegen zwischen Arezzo und Cortona. Hunde willkommen. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Beautiful location. The food is excellent both for evening meal and breakfast. As it is an old building the rooms are not luxurious however they are spacious and clean and well worth the compromise for everything else the hotel has to offer. I would definitely return.

Villa Schiatti altes Gebäude mit Charme
Die Villa liegt sehr schön, toller Ausblick und zentral für Ausflüge. Man kann auch Abendessen, ist aber für Italien recht teuer. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat war die Rezeption, als wir ankamen nachmittags war sie nicht besetzt, ein Mann zeigte uns das Zimmer, er sprach aber leider nur Italienisch, bei der Abreise fanden sie unsere Online Buchung nicht und wir sollten noch einmal bezahlen, hat sich nach einigem hin und her dann aber geklärt, mussten aber noch 50 Euro draufzahlen.

Rural hotel, very peaceful with excellent views
Beautiful views from restaurant terrace and very attentive staff. I was concerned at first about the slightly tricky access but the dining was so good we didn't want to dine anywhere else in the evenings. The staff were very kind and attentive and we felt like part of the family.

Stunning view!
Very nice hotel. Beautiful terrass where we spend our dinner, stunning view. The breakfast was quite poor, but ok. Very nice poolarea. But there was a LOT of wasps there, which they have every season. They where friendly wasps doe. To summun up the review - nice place, friendly staff and stunning view!

Great retreat location
Traditional, stately stone villa with beautiful sceneries and sunsets. Staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating. Limited menus as expected but has a beautiful pool and multiple terraces. Offered a perfect contrast after 3 days in Rome.

I've just spent a time with my husband in this beautiful and quiet hotel. They have luxury restaurant with Toscana cousin and fantastic view! Also swimming pool has same wonderful view. Perfect hotel location (highway exits are very closed) --> strategic location if you want to visit Toscana region. Will return if am around Toscana again!

Non vale assolutamente le tariffe che applicano.
Non vale assolutamente le tariffe che applicano. Si tratta di un semplice hotel 3 stelle, un po’ squallido e decadente. Ha visto sicuramente tempi migliori e l’ultima ristrutturazione risale a qualche decennio fa. Con il mio ragazzo abbiamo fatto un giro in centro Italia di una decina di giorni, facendo alcune tappe tra Marche, Umbrie e Toscana e questo alloggio è stato il peggiore. Lampade al neon con fotocellula ovunque, piscina con obbligo di cuffia, aria condizionata a pagamento ( 10 € a notte), bagno fatiscente. Le stanze presentano un arredamento anni ’80 e sono poco curate: la mascherina di una presa della corrente si staccava, la cornetta della doccia cadeva, una porta finestra dava su una terrazza comune. In generale basta adattarsi, ma per 110 € a notte mi aspetto proprio qualcosa di più. Unica nota positiva: la colazione, abbondante e di qualità, anche se l’orario in cui viene servita termina alle 9.30.

Værelserne var rene, men møbler m.v. var temmelig slidt og gav et lidt kedeligt indtryk. Badeværelset var ligeledes af relativ lav standard omend det var funktionelt. Når der var personnale, var de søde og rare. Problemet var at finde personalet, når der var brug herfor.
