The staff were excellent always helpful and willing to help too, food was well above the standard of other Hotels, and the rooms were well kept and cosy. We were so impressed with the Hotel we've booked to stay again in September.. the only negative was that there was no lift, which made things slightly difficult for us but manageable Thank you to everyone who made our stay so pleasant .

The George was clean, the bed was very comfy and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I would describe it as a pub with rooms rather than a hotel.

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of drinks but unfortunately food was a bit underwhelming. Rooms were nice and well kept but the shower base was a bit slippy. Nice selection of complimentary items were provided and supplemented on a daily basis. All in all a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to re-book there in the future.
