We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "I recently stayed four nights at Nova Suite in Catania, Sicily, and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station and the main bus station, which made it very easy to travel around the city and take day trips. Flavia was especially helpful and went out of her way to check me in at 2:00 PM, even though the regular check-in time starts at 3:00 PM. "The room was clean however we were left on the street for 2 hours as the power was not on....apparently to turn on the power it was on a hall way switch outside of the apt. No one came to greet us so there was no help. A very scary experience where we felt unsafe. The room was advertised with a balcony however the balcony had wash buckets and an enormous tank...so their actually was no balcony....they upgraded us for the last two days to a new room however the company did not offer a refund for...

"Friendly staff, clean, quiet and comfortable room. Location is very central to tourist attractions. There's a cafe, bar and a restaurant just a few yards away. Staff has also arranged a taxi for us going back to the airport and very responsive to queries as well. "

"The staff was very helpful in answering any questions i had. This was very important since there isnt a local front desk. Although room service wasnt provided during my stay, which i was told about in advance, i did see someone cleaning rooms. All and all i would recommend."
