We were two people visiting Catania on our way home staying one night. Many houses look a bit tired on the outside. This one showed a well maintained and lovely inside. Clean and nice, with an owner who was very helpful giving advice about restaurants and sights, ordering taxi and letting us in and out when we had our luggage in storage the day we left. Very welcoming and situated in a short walking distance from the city center, fishmarket and other sights. Will keep this one in mind and I will be happy to stay here again.

The rooms are beautiful, small fridge and hot water kettle in the room I had. Breakfast is offered in the common area. Manuela is a wonderful person, speaks English, and takes wonderful care of the property and her guests. I loved it all, but the 2 flights of marble stairs were difficult for me. Manuela saved me by helping with my suitcase. Grazie mille, Manuela!

We really enjoyed our stay at Il Leone Blu. The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, and the service was warm and welcoming. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower cabin could be a bit bigger, and the breakfast could offer more variety. Overall, it was a very good experience and we would recommend it.

This was a gem of a stay! Although it is a small and intimate space, our room was large and beautiful, with great attention to detail, and a family-style breakfast table. Manuela & Dario, and their on-site colleague, were an absolute delight.

Very nice room! Great location, the block looks a little sketchy but itā€™s totally safe and really convenient to serious touristy areas. We didnā€™t get to have breakfast because of an early flight, but highly recommend!

Host was so friendly and gave us many recommendations on what to do for our stay in Catania. We arrived before check in and asked to store our luggage until check in. To our surprise she got the room ready and we were able to check in early. They had breakfast every morning and coffee and water available in the lobby 24/7 which was great. The rooms were spacious and airy and very clean. I would stay here again.

This property is lovely and the location canā€™t be beat for exploring Catania. It is just a few steps from Ursino castle and a couple of blocks from the amazing fish market. The room is spacious and beautiful. But what made it truly exceptional was the amazing care and hospitality of our host, Manuela. My daughter arrived before me and she looked out for her and really helped with check in and communication throughout. Highly highly recommended!

Perfect accommodation, everything clean, fragrant and comfortable. The lady was very nice and helpful, she allowed us to stay earlier, which we very much appreciated with the children. During the day, you can make coffee or tea and have a small breakfast when you leave early. Amazing for us. thank you! Great restaurant st. Antonio nearby.

Gorgeous rooms in older building. Spacious, well appointed, beds and bath very comfortable. Fabulous high painted and decorated ceilings. Good breakfast and helpful staff. The entry way is older and plain but delight ensues as soon as you open the door to the second floor. Very helpful getting a cab for early morning flight.
