Jonathan is the most accommodating person ever!! He was truly amazing and so welcoming as we arrived way later than we thought we would. However, all the staff is excellent. The location is beautiful, absolutely spectacular. The view from the king size casita on the second floor is breathtaking. Hearing the howler monkies is a crazy experience. They only woke me up 1 out of the 4 nights we stayed, you might want to bring ear plugs just in case. I loved hearing them during the day. If you can’t get up and down stairs, it will be difficult to get to your room. The rooms are amazing, both king size and double rooms but you will definitely get a better ore from the king size rooms. Cold air, hot water, clean sheets, and such delicious food with a bar. Try the broccoli cream soup and Pacaya mojito! The life saver was they have a generator for when the electricity goes out. This was crucial because of the c pap machine we use to sleep. We had a large group of 15 family members stay and we all cannot wait to come back to Pacaya Lodge. It’s definitely a must stay where we will be returning. Thank you guys for being so amazing!!!!!

Pacaya is beautiful

The hotel is really beautiful, and the staff are all so warm and helpful. The view of the lake is inedible. It's quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to unwind.

Resort and view was very good, service and food poor. Attention to finer details was missing which would have made a big difference ... we stayed for 2 nights ... second night we were the only 2 guests and instead of being spoilt by extra attention, at one point I had to search in order to find one of two staff members working that night. Disappointing after an 8 hour travel from San Carlos to get there in the first place.

My husband and I had an unforgettable experience at Pecaya Lodge and Spa! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort itself is absolutely stunning! Every corner is beautifully maintained, and the views are breathtaking. Our room was immaculate, spacious, and offered the best view we’ve ever had on a vacation. Cleanliness was clearly a top priority, and it made our stay feel incredibly comfortable and relaxing. We booked the King room. The food was simply delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented every time. We truly looked forward to every meal. What really made our stay exceptional was the five-star service. Every staff member was warm and attentive, but we have to give a special shoutout to Ronald, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. His hospitality and attention to detail were phenomenal. We’ll definitely be recommending Pecaya Lodge and Spa to our family and friends, and we’re already planning our return. Thank you for such a perfect stay!
