Quiet, relaxing with wonderful small staff and very friendly owner who makes you feel welcome and will help and guide you with a smile (excellent English btw). Very nice upscale hotel. A highlight of my 2 weeks in Columbia. "

"This was a good comfortable stay. The place was very clean, including the bedroom and bathroom. The only drawback, if I had known they didn’t have hot water to shower I would’ve stayed somewhere else. But it was in a good neighborhood and quiet at night. Overall good stay. "

"We arrived at 2am and the host still greeted us with a smile and got us checked in and to our room quickly. The property is on a quiet street but literally around the corner from the main square, shops and restaurants and is modern, well maintained and the cleanest we have had in Colombia. "The original booking was for Tierra Roja, but the hotel was in a bad section of town and down very muddy roads. The hotel manager sent us to another hotel they managed, but didn’t adjust the price until we noticed that it was listed for quite a bit less on hotels.com. They agreed to a partial refund and we thought everything was fine. We were the only ones staying there and the lady who took care of the hotel left early. Just before midnight someone tried to break into our room. We scared them away and called the manager who was in another town didn’t answer right away. She sent the police, but the culprit had escaped. We tried communicating with the manager by phone and messaging, but she never responded so we spent a sleepless night worrying if they would return, locked in our room. The manager never answered our calls and we left early the next morning."

"This hotel never disappoints. This is now my 3rd time staying at this hotel. The room is very clean, comfortable and roomy. I love that they have hot water and good water pressure. At night its very quiet and I always sleep right through the night. The staff are excellent. The kitchen staff and breakfast PERFECT. Great location a short walk to the center park. Look forward to satying here again. "

The pool is lovely. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful.
A very short walk and you are in the central square of one of the most beautiful towns in Latin America.
