โCasa Carolina is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Cartagenaโs Old City. The location is unbeatableโyou can walk everywhere and never need an Uber. With only 15 rooms, it feels like staying in a private home, and the pool is gorgeous.
The staff and service were amazingโtruly one of the highlights of our stay.
A few things to note: the wellness-style menu is healthy but doesnโt offer many snack options. Street performers outside (especially drummers) can be very loud at night, though...

โNice hotel, helpful staff. We were given a packet of coupons for various restaurants in the area. We used as many as we could and got free drinks and appetizers at three different restaurants. Not only did we save money, but we got to experience different establishments, all excellent choices places to dine. โ
โI stayed at this hotel in September 2025 and we were completely satisfied with the experience. The following lists the positives for this place:
1. Location was excellent, very easy to walk to anything in the old city and surroundings. The street was not a main tourist street without much traffic, so the nights were quiet.
2. Room (really an apartment) was spacious with full kitchen (stove and refrigerator), washer/dryer combo, and cookware/eatingware, and toiletries.

โIt was excellent choice to stay in this hotel. The hotel staffs were really nice and have good attitude for the services. Moreover, the location of this hotel is really close with Torre del reloj and this made me really convenient to see the old city by walk. The room condition was really good and the pool facility was cozy & nice. And the breakfast was fantastic(You choose your menu and the chef cooks & deliver the foods directly.) โAbsolutely beautiful property. Truly personalized service. I felt pampered during my stay. The food at the hotel is simply fantastic. Breakfast is a must (arepa e' huevo!), the Casuela de Mariscos ... to die for!
