“The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain.”

“This hotel was lovely. Situated on a cliffside with access to a part sand/part rocky beach, it provided a lovely oasis. There was plenty of greenspace to relax and watch the sunset. The pool was refreshing, but often crowded. The restaurant had amazing food, particularly for vegetarians. And prices were very good. “Stayed at Villa Coco in Santa Catalina with a group of five of us in a suite and had an incredible experience. The property itself is beautiful — the grounds are peaceful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything feels really well cared for. The staff were outstanding from start to finish: friendly, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent, and being able to borrow bikes to explore the area was such a great touch.
