"Fridge was leaking upon arrival but we got extra towels and cleaned it up. Hot tub was not working but all in all we enjoyed our stay and it met all our needs."
"Cedar Grove Lodge is in an absolutely beautiful location along the river in King's Canyon, and if you're there to hike the great trails in the area or hang out in a lounge chair along the riverfront, you'll be happy. The lodge isn't the point--the location is. The lodge itself is old, run down, and clearly hasn't been maintained. Rooms are grubby and show signs of water damage and age, showers are tiny with pitiful water pressure, mattresses are old and don't smell great. But if you're not here to hang out in the room, that probably won't bother you! We enjoyed the break from phones, WiFi, and internet, and were happy to enjoy our time outdoors every day before coming back to crash at the lodge. The snack bar is your only option for food and has limited options and hours, but everything we tried was surprisingly good and really reasonably priced for in-park meals. The market is well stocked. The staff throughout the property were SO helpful, friendly, and hard working. You're in a remote canyon--be flexible and enjoy your beautiful surroundings!"
"We had an amazing time at AutoCamp with our family! It was such a fun and relaxing getaway, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. The Airstream was clean, the property was beautiful, and it was a great place to make memories with our boys.
The only downside was that some of the Airstream sites don’t have much shade. On 100°+ days, it can get pretty uncomfortable, especially around the outdoor seating area. I would recommend bringing a canopy if you’re visiting during the summer. It would also be wonderful if AutoCamp could add umbrellas or some type of shade structure for guests to enjoy the outdoor space more comfortably.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back!"
"The place is really lovely, with the view of the mountains, with a restaurant right next to the rooms and the cabin where we stayed.
For check-in there is not really a front desk, you have to do it online per instructions they send, and then someone from the staff in the restaurant helps finalize it.
We liked the cabin, it was spacious and comfortable, with a full kitchen."
"Very nice gentleman checked us in. I believe he is the owner at least he told me his wife could say he was. Cute little place and reminded me of the places I stayed when I was a kid with my parents. Will stay there again if I travel thru this area. More bathroom products than the major lodging places have. Just a quaint small motel that’s a reminded of how simple things were in the past"
