"This is like taking the family to summer camp, with all sorts of activities, plus meals! The detour road is a bit unnerving, but that adds to the experience! (Don't take a low-clearance car in there!)"
Cedar Grove Lodge

"It has comfortable beds and goid heater and AC. Shower had mildew and mold on the bottom of the door and around the metal frame. It looked like no one had swept under the beds for awhile. The restaurant had recently been very busy and was out of a lot of menu items while it waited for a truck to arrive. We enjoyed two Ranger talks during our visit."

"A nice location to stop when travelling through eastern California. Clean rooms, good air con and a friendly manager. Easy location to access. Whilst it’s a little dated it’s more than comfortable and quiet. It’s a great spot to explore from. I would stay here again and recommend it!"

"The property is on the National park. The drive to the resort will take you through some narrow winding roads and it will take approximately an hour and a half to make it up there (approximately 23-25 miles). In some places, it’s hard for two cars to get by. There was road construction going on, they closed the road down, so we had to schedule accordingly. Once you get up there you may not want to go back down to retrieve groceries, food, etc. No gas station, so gas up beforehand. Nice quiet resort, WiFi available, no tvs."
