"The property is about 15 min to the entrance of Sequoia National Park. I'm not sure what kind of vibe they are going for. Rooms are dated and there was stuff everywhere. It felt very hodge podged together. I was excited to have access to the river but it's a 10 min walk past a stanky septic drain and you can't actually get to the water without risking your life. Overall if you want budget... You get it here! "
"Restaurant on site was fantastic. Check in was easy with some staff. Room was clean with fridge and coffee. Location was so beautiful even if you had to walk a bit up the hill to your room. Worth it!"
"Clean rooms, breakfast was ok. Close to the entrance of Sequoia National park. Also close to restaurants to have lunch/dinner.
Recommended for people going to the park for the first time."
"Super fun place, the location and the views are so worth it. Though I really wish they had some form of breakfast offered. It was nice that they had a rollaway... though the blanket with it had cigarette holes. Doors weren't properly sealed, so I'm sure any noise goes out (you could see a bit of the ceiling in the rooms from the hall). No microwaves in rooms but there is one in the lobby. "
"I stayed at Mt Williamson on a business trip. It is early in the season so the place is not humming in its operation. The room is rustic but functional. There isn't much amenities to speak about. What bother me to most is the poor sound insolation. My unit is close to the main road and at night when big trucks and speeding motorists speed by, the noise penetrates the room and it would be difficult to sleep if you are a light sleeper. Check in and check in hours are limited and much of the information about the motel and surrounding areas are self-help. I will probably not going to stay at Mt Williamson in the future given there are other options that I will try to test out."
"The property manager, Andrea, was wonderful! She was very helpful and responded quickly to all emails. We stayed in the guest suite, which was such a nice respite after staying in hotels. We were able to cook, do laundry, and even had movies to watch. Very accessible to Sequoia and Kings Canyon parks. Would stay here again!"
