"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! "The view of the volcano (when not cloudy) and the restaurant on the top floor are both quite nice. Here are a couple reasons we didn’t love it: the hot springs are basically a couple jacuzzis coated with a black plaster, the sauna wasn’t steamy or hot enough, the gym needed a reservation and wasn’t available before our early departure, you can’t walk anywhere from here and the staff interactions were a little forced. We also stayed at the Hotel Los Del Volcán just down the road in a private villa at 1/2 the price; we expected the Royal Corin to be a step up but it felt like a step down. Maybe there’s a premium for the Corin being adults only and being owned by the Hilton?"
