“Gym poor”

“This property is having a complete renovation. I would not have stayed if i had any idea. Nothing on website indicated anything. We stayed 4 nights and I guess you are totally on your own to find clean towels, toilet paper etc. Hotel was permeated with paint and adhesive smells. Open Rooms under these circumstances should not cost $158 per night. ”

“I was going to give the motel 2 stars because the room was immaculate, and quiet, but then I got the email telling me to strip the bed. I did, but it's not my job. No bath towels, just washcloths and face towels, no staff present to ask for towels, one small lamp for the whole room, nowhere to sit but the bed or the toilet (no chairs). What is the point of having a kitchenette if you have nowhere to sit if you make something on the kitchen at? The only table was occupied by the microwave. I get...

“Located in the downtown area of a small town in western MN, Canby Inn & Suites is a gem. We stayed here for 3 nights as our home base during a birding weekend. Every staff member greeted us warmly and offered to do whatever they could to make our stay comfortable. When we advised that we would be heading out at 5:30 am one of the mornings of our stay, they had freshly brewed coffee ready for us to take along. “The reception staff when we checked in was not friendly and didn’t welcome us or explain any of the amenities. Our bed was rock hard, very uncomfortable to sleep on. Also the tv did not work, couldn’t get channels on at all. The shower had low water pressure. Then after a rough night of sleep with the hard bed and hearing a guy snoring in the room behind our bed, the breakfast was nothing much. They had cereal, toast, yogurt and cups of fruit was all. I would not ever stay here again!”
