“The hotel pool and grounds area was beautiful, the walk down to the small beach a nice amenity. The rooms have a stone floor, ours was filthy. At one point it was white but there were brown spots and it looked very dirty. The walls had marks all over them. I would recommend that you don’t get a room on the forest floor, you miss out on seeing the wildlife in the trees. ”

“I loved the room with the glass wall to a private view of the back yard/hillside. There was a kitchen and a private patio area. Staff was so helpful to navigate our way and to secure a ferry reservation after we left there. Loved the area. Just wasn’t aware how mountainous it is in Costa Rica. Takes getting used to drive up the crazy hills. Great location and food/restaurants was amazing!!! So fresh and good. ”

“Lovely property, very unique and very beautiful. The sounding area was walkable. Roughly a 20 minute walk to Montezuma waterfall where you can swim too. 5 min walk to beach. We arrived late and the staff waited around until 8:30. Great experiences throughout.”

“Beautiful location, stunning mountain views and the clouds just roll on in to your balcony. Walking distance to some cool places and restaurants. They have a good shuttle service to the forest. Only feedback is some of the staffs attitudes, 2 of the employees were helpful, friendly and kind. The rest seemed snobby and almost judgemental. Could've been 5 stars if it weren't for that. We were WELL AWARE of our checkout time, yet walked by the front desk and stated we are going to pack. 5 minutes...
