Clean, comfortable and had more than a bed and a shower. It also had a fridge, coffee maker, microwave and hair dryer, luggage rack. Little extras that elevated it. Have no complaints, had a very nice stay.

Hard to check in. No front desk or office. Was sent to Varsity North. At Varsity North was told to go back. New beds are good. The property has mostly been converted to apartments. The maids did a good job.

Had a great one night stay for my daughters softball tournament. This was nothing fancy, but the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I will definitely be visiting again for the next tournament. You can't beat the price and convenience to everything in town.

It was a sketchy area. No ice, no refrigerator, no desk clerk before 2or 3 pm and no desk clerk after 10 pm. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. It has been cheaply remodeled. I would not stay there again.

This was a wonderful room. Obviously they have remodeled each room in a clean, fresh way. The beds were very comfortable. We would stay again. The reason for four stars is there was no where to hang clothes or suitcase holder. Might be they aren’t finished with rooms yet, hence the great price. Everything was new! Five stars for GREAT VALUE.

The TV in my room didn't work and when I went to the office to ask for help, no one was there. I left a checkin review stating the same and later after I'd gone to bed someone showed up and wanted to fix it. By then I just wanted to go to sleep. When I left there were 2 ladies working on their hair in the back office. They said they couldn't give me a receipt and I needed to go somewhere else to get one. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

My only 4-star factor referred to the staff. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful. The only shock was when she told me to drop my key in the box outside in the morning, because nobody would be at the desk. Not "if" or "just in case." It is their policy to have nobody man the desk in the morning. Or maybe they are short of staff and couldn't have someone that day. But she sounded as if that's the normal case. The room was clean and well-lit, to the point that I thought they were accommodating students who needed to do homework. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortably firm. I was able to park right outside the door, a feature I look for in a motel, though I did have to walk around a low (waist-high) concrete wall to get from my car to the room and back. I think it's a flood wall, with removable panels that let us walk through, but can be installed to protect the building in an emergency. This was maybe the closest motel to home that I've stayed in I was just too tired to finish the drive. But yes, if I need to find a room in the Centralia area again, I'll try the Varsity Inn first.

Check in was easy and the host Michelle was lovely. This is a bare bones motel with live on units on the top floor. Rooms were bare and I would compare this to a no frills grocery store. Towels clean, room floor wasn’t cleaned well enough as after a shower my feet were dirty. No pictures on the wall and the mattress wasn’t that great. I would suggest this for college students or someone they has never stayed in a hotel as then one would have no standards to compare.

Reserved two rooms for two days and at check in the office door was locked. Had to call to get somebody there. Room was clean and spacious. The following day we left to enjoy the mid day with family and when we returned, our room keys wouldn't work. Went to the office and was told by a maid that we would have to wait for a manager to get keys remade. So they expected us to disrupt our plans for the remainder of the day in order to get new keys. We chose to just get new keys when we finished visiting our family that we drove 1,200 miles to see. So we get back to the motel at 7pm and the office door was locked...again! Had to call and wait for so none to get there...again. This room was nice but the customer service was absolutely, 100% the worst I have ever encountered!

Super clean room. Would stay here again. Note: there are no hooks to hang a coat nor a closet rod, but not a dealbreaker for me since I was only staying a few hours to rest on a road trip. There was a micro and mini fridge. Staff super nice!

A clean, safe, and remarkably affordable hotel option. Business model is impressive and competitive. No clutter, and just the correct amount of amenities. Good for a few nights of quiet and safe rest and relaxation.
