"Lovely property well maintained in a remote location. Sadly the pool wasn’t in operation during our stay but that did not detract. We were allocated the pool house so unable to comment on the main house. Owners are friendly, welcoming and eager to please. The village of Darnius is quaint but very much a one-horse town (unfortunately someone has stolen the horse). If it’s tranquility you are after, you will find it here."

"Room was fine and the balcony looked out over the harbour. It’s a working harbour so maybe not the most scenic view but it was fine. We liked the town and the hotel was mostly good, particularly the location, but the extras kind of detracted. Almost €12 each for a run of the mill breakfast was way too much and the cafe next door would have been better value. Also they wanted €10 for parking but we found free parking quite close. "Lovely! Would stay again despite that it is doesn’t offer the usual services you expect from a full hotel. I guess this is simply down to cost paring. They must have got a huge architect bill to build this and which went well over budget and they are cutting services to save cash. Not great for guests."

"Enjoyed our stay, lovely position with a great view from the large balcony. Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. We had to clean the small kitchen area before we left but a cleaning kit is supplied and it wasn’t really an issue,we also had to take our rubbish to the outside bins before we left. Lovely pool and good restaurants around the port. All in all good value for money."
