Quaint B&B with friendly staff

The B&B is conveniently located, with lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to Lake Como. The room was clean and comfortable. Terrance and kitchen were shared with other guests. The terrace was a nice place to sit and play games as a family. Breakfast was generous and staff were very friendly.

Gutes B&B, mit sehr freundlichem Personal

Eine gute Unterkunft, wie man sie von einem B&B erwarten kann, sauber, moderne Einrichtung, einzig der Aufzug fehlt falls man ihn benötigt. Was es aber besonders macht: Sehr sehr freundliches Personal, mit gutem Englisch, ein wenig Deutsch. Bereits im Vorfeld der Reise wurde Kontakt aufgenommen und vor Ort wurde man bereits erwartet.

Simpel en klein maar schoon kamer met alle vier bedden in een kamer. Nette eigen badkamer. Eigenaren spreken alleen Italiaans maar het is geen probleem. Goede ontbijt is inbegrepen en is personelijk geserveerd bij de gastvrouw.

Nette en schone kamer en aardige gastheer/ gastvrouw. Voor 1 of 2 nachten (doorreis) zeker aan te bevelen. In Cernobbio is weinig te beleven. Met de boot over het meer naar Como gaat snel en is leuk.

Where to start! We loved our stay here! If you're looking for local charm and a clean, beautiful stay, this is it! We felt safe with their key system. We thought the bed and sheets were very comfortable. The furniture and decor was beautiful. Fortuna was amazing with breakfast! Even if my husband slept in. If we were to return to Cernobbio, we would stay here again and again!

A little home on your vacation.

Our flight from New York to Milan was delayed 3 hours, and we arrived at B&B I Portici quite late, but the proprietors (a married couple) were so understanding and welcoming! We were shown our room and given a brief tour, then we had dinner at the restaurant next door and settled in for the night. The next day we were served a wonderful northern Italian breakfast, and afterwards we relaxed on the patio where I had such a great conversation with the woman (luckily she understood my Italian), and later the husband too. I felt like I was visiting with family! The B&B is very clean and well appointed. It was also very convenient because it's so close to Lake Como, and there was only a short commute to the city to see the sights. I would definitely stay at I Portici again. Auguri!

Very nice B&B. The lady who runs the B&B is very nice. She did everything to make us feel comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast had nice variety. Each one was served tea or coffee to their liking. Our rented car could not start because the battery was dead after we checked out in the morning. She helped us to find a guy who brought his own car and cables and helped us to start the car in moments. Very nice and affordable option close to the beautiful city of Como as well as other popular destinations in the region such as Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna etc.

B u B Portici ist ein sauberes kleines Haus in dem wir eine Nacht übernachtet haben. Es sind nur 3 Wohneinheiten dort, Frühstück war typisch italiensich mit großer Auswahl. Alles vorhanden. Es ist neu renoviert und bietet auch eine Klimanlage (zumindest im familienzimmer). Es liegt an einer Einbahnstraße, die aber recht häufig genutzt wird. Nachts haben wir schon ein paar Autos vorbei fahren hören, aber es war in Ordnung. Dafür ist es auch sehr zentral, 5 min zum See. Top Lage! Die leckere Pizza im Restaurant unten drunter ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Bonne expérience de logement "chez l'habitant"

Réception très accueillante et chambre agréable, climatisée et donnant sur la terrasse. On est reçu comme chez l'habitant, le petit déjeuner est continental. Proche du centre ville, il faudra prendre le bateau ou la voiture pour les différentes activités, car tous les abords du lac appartiennent à des "Villa" (clubs privés).
