Large and clean rooms, great location and staff. Only downside is there is no restaurant/bar in the hotel, rather in the separate casino which is a bit sleazy for my tastes. But there are decent restaurants within a short walk."

"The hotel is located in the city center, so it’s walkable to the national theater, plaza/museum, parks, and other attractions. It’s next to a casino and feels more like an apartment building than a traditional hotel. The staff were very friendly and our room was extremely spacious. It even had a small kitchen area but there were no pots, utensils or plates whatsoever. We were under the impression that it offered a buffet breakfast but you actually ordered from the menu. Simple local foods. For the space and location, we’d consider staying here if we visit San Jose again."
