We havexstayed at this hotel quite a few times on the way through France. The room is small but becauseit isnonly for one night this is not a problem.it is clean and the staff are pleasant and helpful. However there always seems to be a niggle with the room. This time the air-conditioning wasn't functioning , the time before the flush on the toilet kept running . I feel the hotel needs a refurbishment.

Difficulties

We keep saying we won't go there again but this time we mean it. It is very conveniently place on the edge of a large retail park. The rooms are clean, the staff are pleasant but there are just too many problems with the rooms. This time the air conditioning didn't work so there was a fan in the room, there was a stron smell of smoke. There hsve been problems in the past with the door locks do now they have installed a key sytem but unfortunately the key is vrry dtiff and it is difficult to open the door. Money needs to be sent to overall the infrastructure.

Une bonne étape

Nous avons passé une bonne nuit, dans une chambre PMR climatisée. Personnel attentif au handicap de ma compagne. Un plus serait d'avoir une place PMR devant une chambre PMR, mais je suis conscient que tout n'est pas toujours réalisable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Propreté laisse à désirer au restaurant, on n'a pas pu dîner, sous prétexte qu'ils attendaient un groupe, il aurait été judicieux de mettre une affiche en disant que le restaurant était complet pour le soir, dès le matin, puisque apparemment cela dépasse le cadre des compétences de places au restaurant. Le petit déjeuner sans plus, les pains au chocolat n'étaient pas complètement cuits et étaient caoutchouteux. Les dames qui faisaient le ménage étaient gentilles et polies contrairement à certaines jeunes en cuisine qui vous regardent, et ne disent pas bonjour. Literie OK conforme au Campanile. Notre venue dans votre campanile avait été motivée par une précédente expérience dans une autre région,dont nous étions satisfaits. Il en résulte qu'on révise sérieusement notre jugement.

Attention...

Accueil agréable. Notre première chambre la télé toute petite ne fonctionnait pas. Il nous est proposé de l'utiliser sans télécommande car le personnel sait que cette télé ne fonctionne plus avec la télécommande. Après discussion il nous est proposé une chambre sur l'arrière où les bouilloires ne fonctionnent pas. J'insiste et après quelques minutes une solution est trouvée sur l'avant où tout fonctionne et par chance la télé est adaptée à la taille de la chambre. Il est triste que l'état de laisser aller dans la rénovation et/ou l'entretien de l'immeuble n'est pas signalé. Le personnel présent est compétant. Nous nous sommes restaurés le vendredi soir dans le restaurant de l'hôtel. La viande est excellente et la cuisson demandée respectée. Dommage que pour le samedi soir nous nous somme trouvés obligés daller ailleurs, le restaurant étant fermé. Un bon coup de rénovation et une prestation qui respecte la description serait un plus. Franchisé ou non, cet établissement est obsolète. Dommage.
