We stayed for one night and loved this place so much. Very cozy hotel with beautiful amenities. Breakfast was incrdible with very fresh procuts like croissants, crepes, yogurth, bread, bacon, eggs… also pool was great place for morning swim. They also had cute backyard to enjoy glass of wine.
Bellevigne is a nice property in the middle of the Burgundy vineyards. It is an old merchant's house turned into a hotel. It is charming and well renovated. The room we stayed in was larger and nice. Downside was lack of air conditioning. We were lucky the temperatures were cooling down a bit but still it is a problem when hot. Breakfast is good but they were overwhelmed by the number of guests at the same time. Service is OK and staff at reception is friendly, but other staff is variable.
The hotel is set in an idyllic and beautiful location, nestled near the top of a small village surrounded by vineyards. All the staff I spoke to were local, clearly very proud of the area, and exceptionally helpful and considerate throughout our stay.
The décor is fresh and contemporary while still retaining an old-world charm. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning, which was noticeable as temperatures were above 30°C during our visit. However, it was explained that, due to the building’s historic status, air conditioning is not permitted.
Breakfast was pleasant, and we enjoyed eating in the outdoor courtyard. We also had a lovely bottle of local Burgundy wine alongside a mixed charcuterie board in the hotel gardens.
We will definitely return on our journeys to and from Scotland.
Overall, the hotel is very good – the facilities are excellent, and the food was outstanding. However, one of the rooms we were given was extremely small, to the point where it felt like a design mistake by the architect. Additionally, since it was summer, it got quite hot and the hotel does not have air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable at times. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
Heated pool, chef at restaurant very sollicitous re food allergy. Housekeeping needed 3 reminders throughout the day to finally make up the room by 5pm on the second day.

Teilweise in Sandalen.
