The room was excellent with an unparalleled view of the port of Chania! The staff we so friendly and attentive and were always ready to give us excellent recommendations for restaurants, beaches, activities and more! Breakfast every day was delicious (and very filling!) and getting to walk outside and be in the center of Old Chania was simply incredible!

Domus Reis is amazing! I loved that the property keep many architectural and artful features from the previous palace. It is in the heart of old Hania. The staff is respectful, informative and eager to please. The breakfasts were delicious. I loved the avocado toast! Free parking is available close by. I highly recommend it!

Excellent stay at this hotel. Water view was amazing, walking distance to all the restaurants, old town and the Venetian harbor. Spectacular breakfast, not a buffet with a menu to order from. If you were going to miss breakfast, they would have a box breakfast for you. Quiet at night and has an elevator. Hospitality was great, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Second time in Chania—which I love—but first time at this hotel. Travelling with family and we stayed in the Master Suite. Hotel description and photographs are perfectly accurate so there’s no need repeating them, but the hotel nevertheless managed to exceed our expectations in every way. The owner and all members of the staff that we encountered were spectacular—extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Will be returning to stay again at some point.

Perfect getaway

We had stayed here 8 yrs ago and could not wait to get back. It was everything we remembered. Exceptional service, beautiful surroundings and the restaurant Zepo as delicious as it was then. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we cannot wait to come back. One of the best hotels in the world - and we have traveled a lot!

Situated in an absolutely perfect location on the harbor, the staff was so nice and helpful. The room was very clean and nicely organized, with many amenities and provided toiletries. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely return here and stay again.

Superb service. Elegant accommodations and the view to the Venetian harbor is spectacular. The breakfast is made to order and the food quality and dining patio are excellent. Very friendly staff makes this an exceptional experience. Interior design is magnificent, and fits this beautifully renovated Venetian Mansion.
