“The property is set on 26 acres on a “small” river (Big Thompson River) in Estes Park. The grounds are nice, and set up as a wedding (or event) venue. They have a good bit of frontage along the river, with benches interspersed. We stayed in “Shooting Star” in the main building’s second (top) floor. It was a very nice unit with a king bed, fireplace, sitting area (bookcases filled with books), shower and separate tub (and sink and toilet; toilet in the water closet with shower, sink outside that...

“It was a rustic cabin setting by a river. We enjoyed being able to get away from the crowds in Estes Park. Our cabin was unexpectedly very close to the other cabins, however, all the guests respected the quiet. Messaging with the host was easy and quick. The kitchenette and bathroom were tiny, but sufficient for our needs. We liked the screened porch with the swing on it. There was a sufficient wifi & tv signal. Location was close to everything in Estes Park. Check in/out was super easy.”

“The room was bit up dirty. The pillows and the blancots are smelly. I told the front desk people to get a room service and change the Pillow and the blanket but they didn't. Them on the charge. It was pretty pricey for poor service.”

“We had a wonderful experience! A perfect place for a quiet romantic getaway. The room was clean, comfortable (AC was a must for me and I was grateful our room had it plus a ceiling fan in the July heat), and in a beautiful location just outside of the downtown Estes Park area. We will definitely be back.”

“Cute cabins with other amenities such as patio with chairs, outdoor dining and fire pit. Very clean cabins. Well maintained with latest upgrades. Kitchen is full of utensils, plates, glasses etc. Pots and pends are clean and good shape. Customer service staff is courteous and helpful. Would recommend these cabins.”

“The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, the view was fantastic, the shower was very good, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was also good. Not to mention a good location. There is a gazebo area, a small pond and a hot tub. We would've stayed another day if our schedule would've permitted. I would visit this hotel again.”

“The property was in a good location and met most of our needs. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed. However, the room was rather small, the overhead fan was annoying and the floor and towels were rough. Breakfast consisted of bagels, mini muffins, dry cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee, and some fruit. Pool was ok. Pool table was too small and too close to the wall.”

“Very outdated, pillows were horrible, bed was ok. No a/c so it gets hot. Location is nice, not so much walkable to things but in a nice spot close enough to everything. Overall a decent place summer time tho after hiking and being outside all day it would be nice to sit in A/c”

“I can’t speak highly enough about this little gem of a place on the beautiful Fall River. Conveniently located near Rocky Mtn Ntl Park and Estes Park, Castle Mountain Lodge is the perfect stay. We rented a room, but hope to come back and rent a cabin with our whole family. The staff is delightful and helpful, and the entire place is beautiful, well kept, and we just can’t wait to return next summer!”

“We did not actually stay inside the historic “Stanley” hotel. There are actually 3 buildings. They should change the name to “The Stanley Campus.” The hotel booked us in their building constructed in 2016. Normally that would be fine, but the experience was lost when a person had to walk over 200 yards to get inside the true “Stanley” hotel. We also went up there at 7am to eat breakfast and left at 7:20 when they never opened the restaurant. Save your money.”
