Perfect getaway spot if you love Estes and want to be close to town and RMNP. The cozy cabin looks just like the pictures. We thought the in room hot tub was a weird amenity until we got home from an 8mile hike and had our own private spa! We would recommend for those who don't need a luxury stay. Cute and cozy!!

We had a wonderful experience! A perfect place for a quiet romantic getaway. The room was clean, comfortable (AC was a must for me and I was grateful our room had it plus a ceiling fan in the July heat), and in a beautiful location just outside of the downtown Estes Park area. We will definitely be back.

The cabin is very clean and cozy inside. The host was very responsive and accommodating when I asked to check in an hour early. The area is quiet even though the cabins are connected and close to eachother. They provided drip coffee which was nice. They also had 2 bottles of water in the fridge which was great! I would recommend this place for anyone looking to have a romantic night.. the only bad i can say was the price but it was due to the time of the year which doubled compared to different dates. I still give it full Stars

It was a cute rustic cabin however the hot tub took up too much room and we never used it. What a waste of space! Bathroom was outdated and needed a little bleach in the corners. Sheets were definitely washed too many times and should be replaced. The room was cozy and the kitchen served the purpose. It was 1.3 miles from downtown which was convenient, however I could not get an Uber to pick us up. Over prices for accommodations. So many other nice places I would recommend.

The location of this property was great. The area was quiet and clean. Parking was very easy. The photos match what the property actually is. Now, initially arriving all seemed clean and nice. Then the very very strong stench of chlorine hit us. Obviously the whomever cares for the hot tub in the room had to (because of germs) or accidentally added too much chlorine. They left the window open for a reason. There is a swamp cooler / window air conditioner that has mold in it and is ancient. Definitely no one should breathe in that air for health reasons. The floor appeared clean but was not. If you went barefoot you could feel sand and dirt on the floor. The throw rugs were gross. The bed sheets were completely wrinkled making you wonder if they were being reused. I would also suggest management spray inside for bugs. I realize it’s the mountains and have lived in Colorado my whole life. Bug happen. However, we found a black widow spider on the wall right next to the bed. For the next tenant ….please spray. Because of the fake cleanliness and headache causing over chlorine use this property is way overpriced .

We had a wonderful two night stay for my boyfriend’s birthday this weekend! The room was truly such a cozy, warm oasis to escape the snowy weather. The room was clean, had all the extra stuff we needed (kitchen utensils, towels, etc.) and the bed was very comfortable. The star of the show was the hot tub in the room, we LOVED being able to jump in whenever we wanted without having to leave the cabin. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time at this property. I was pleasantly surprised. It was so cozy and clean. I love the hot tub inside the cabin. The room was immaculately clean. They even had coffee and hot chocolate. The fire place was a nice touch as well. We were so close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again as well as recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Estes Park area.

We absolutely loved Mountain Shadows and hope to stay here again when we're back in Estes Park. The cabin was conveniently located near Rocky Mountain National Park and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, kitchen and a hot tub. Amazing Cabin!!

Our cabin was AMAZING!!! It was decorated in MOOSE MOTIFS...MY FAVORITE(This is Susan writing)!! It was SO CLEAN! The bed was HUGE AND COMFORTABLE!! There was NOT one thing wrong with our cabin! The Hosts were AMAZING...SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!! Definitely a 5 STAR LOCATION!!
