If you're not prepared, traveling can be challenging. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks for a worry-free start to your getaway in Aera-ri. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, pack in your passport, official ID, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to help pass the time. A juicy book and a tablet filled with your favorite shows are some wonderful options. If you intend to take a quick snooze, a comfy neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, find room for a few toiletry items so you'll step off the plane looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and matches, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim is to feel as comfortable as you can. Go for a pair of flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to take a pullover in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your lower limbs often.
