Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a pleasant experience if you're well organized. We've put together a list of handy hints that will get your Ayron escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack your passport, important documents, wallet and medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling book and a phone filled with your favorite shows are some fantastic options. If you intend to catch forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you'll hop off the plane looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of banned items differs between airlines, the general guide to follow is nothing sharp, flammable or explosive. This includes tools, metal cutlery, spray paint and fireworks. Sporting equipment like golf clubs, and items that could harm passengers, such as firearms and ammunition, can't come on board with you either.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main priority is to feel as comfortable as possible. Go for shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and remember to bring a sweater in case you get chilly in the cabin.
- Caused by sustained periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect some passengers during long-haul flights. Reduce the risks by drinking water, keeping your legs moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
