Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Bighorn could be completely painless or it could drag on forever. We've rounded up some handy tips that will help you start your next great escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The trick to having a great travel experience is to plan ahead. So, let's start with the basics: passport, travel documents, bank cards and daily medications. Next, take on board items that'll help keep you busy, like your laptop or a thrilling book. It's also a wise idea to pack your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones. Last but not least, be sure to chuck in toiletries like a toothbrush, deodorant and a fresh change of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and fuels, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim here is to be as comfortable as possible. Choose easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to bring a jacket in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Most travelers are aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To lessen your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and do gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat.
