Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Cliff could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've put together some useful hints that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a comfortable experience if you pack the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a spare set of clothes and a good read. Secondly, find a spot in your bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, any vital medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Lastly, remember to take your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp or pointed objects hiding in the bottom of your hand luggage. Other prohibited items include flammable or explosive products, such as fuel and matches, and liquids and gels in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your prime concern when picking what to wear during your flight. Consider your footwear with care too, as swollen ankles and feet can be a side effect of flying. Shoes which are flat and slightly roomy are your best bet.
- Unfortunately, a risk of long flights is developing DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged inactivity. To avoid this, make the most of every opportunity to stretch your legs and walk around the cabin. Compression socks and tights are another simple way to help reduce this risk.
